The global pandemic has toppled every part of our lives, from our daily errands to significant occasions. We are excessively vigilant, fearful and waiting for better days to come. And we spend most of our time within our homes, remote working and learning.

However, even through this bleak time, light transpires and positivity shines through. We have found new ways to stay connected with one another. We make the effort to creatively celebrate birthdays and other special occasions, lean on each other when things get tough, and honour our frontline workers.
With that said- and as the saying goes- the show must go on.
We kicked off the new year with a treat for you, easy tips on how to achieve your goals this year. Because it is one thing to have a bunch of New Year’s resolutions, how do you create an action plan to achieve them?
New Year, new feature
Brand of the Month is back! Our latest feature is on Shweshwekini, a clever swimwear and active wear brand by fashion designer and Occupational Therapist, Mapitso Thaisi. She has elevated your regular swimwear with Sesotho print and of course we give it a huge Pat!
Another feature I am happy about is with Miranda Dlamini. Anyone who is serious about their personal finances should at least know about this Rockstar. She shares all things finance on her YouTube channel and social media pages. She answered some important questions about navigating finances at the beginning of the year.
As you may know, our platform is one that celebrates brands that break borders and convince and convert. We have big plans to continue to grow our platform to be the go-to place for all things brand related.
I hope Pat on Brands will continue to be your resource when it comes to the latest trends, brand news, and current affairs. We love to hear from you, so give us a shout on social media, follow us, subscribe to the Pat on Brands YouTube channel and most of all, take care of yourselves.
Peace and Light, Noma
