Checkers Brings Smiles with the Return of Little Shop

Checkers is bringing back smiles with the return of its beloved Little Shop series for both young people and adults. This time, the collection embraces sustainability, with every mini made from 100% recycled materials.

Eco-Friendly Minis of Iconic South African Brands

The latest collection features miniature versions of some of South Africa’s most loved brands, including Sixty60, Forage & Feast, Oros, Sunlight, and many more. These miniatures are crafted from recycled materials like refrigerators, washing machines, safety goggles, and water bottles. Even the packaging is responsibly sourced with Forest Stewardship Council (FSC)-approved cardboard and paper.

Aligning Fun with Sustainability

Staying true to its commitment to the environment, Checkers ensures that these miniatures not only provide enjoyment but also contribute to waste reduction. Collectors can also purchase a 100% recyclable Collector’s Case, made locally, to store their minis, ensuring that every part of the Little Shop experience aligns with sustainability goals.

Adding to the excitement, the collection introduces interactive features like glow-in-the-dark details, scratch-and-sniff scents, and sparkles. Rubbing the Jacobs coffee mini releases a fresh coffee aroma, while the Tango fruit mini offers a citrus scent. The air fryer mini even displays cooking temperatures, making playtime extra fun.

Creative Fun for Kids with Stickers and QR Codes

Kids will enjoy personalizing their mini collections with stickers for the Scania truck and Checkers Hyper Sixty60 delivery vehicles. Additionally, each mini comes with a QR code, which customers can scan to shop directly on Sixty60 or learn more about the Little Shop range.

Checkers’ new Little Shop collection masterfully blends nostalgia with sustainability, offering fun, interactive features while reinforcing the importance of caring for the planet.
