Platō Coffee Opens Its First Zimbabwe Location in Harare

Platō Coffee, the beloved South African coffee brand known for its community-driven spaces and craft approach to coffee, officially opened its first location in Zimbabwe today.

About Plato Coffee

What began as a dream and a small side hustle has evolved into a full-time mission to bring people together over great coffee. Since its humble beginnings in South Africa, Platō has grown into a brand with over 100 locations nationwide, each one built on a foundation of quality, consistency, and connection.

Hello Harare!

The opening of the Harare store marks a significant milestone in the company’s journey of expansion across Africa. But for Platō, growth is not just about numbers, it is about purpose. The new café is situated at RK Fuels on Idim Nangago Road, opposite Redan and KFC in Harare.

“What started as one tiny container in Irene is now crossing borders,” Stephen wrote. “We’re beyond excited to announce our first international Platō, opening soon in Harare, Zimbabwe!”

“Same Platō energy. Same community spirit. Same perfectly sculpted coffee – now poured a little further north.”

Welcoming Zimbabwe to the Platō Experience

With its Harare debut, Platō Coffee invites Zimbabweans to experience its signature blend of warmth, craftsmanship, and connection, one cup at a time.
