Johannesburg’s social calendar has a dazzling new addition as Maison Martell officially opens its doors at Montecasino, transforming the iconic destination into a refined cultural playground for the month of March.
Running from 12 to 28 March 2026, the immersive experience invites guests to step into a world where luxury cognac, contemporary African culture and sophisticated lifestyle collide.
Set within the Montecasino Outdoor Event Area, the Maison is designed as a sensory journey rather than simply an event. From the moment guests arrive, they are welcomed into an elegant walk-through experience that celebrates the heritage of Martell, one of the oldest cognac houses in the world.
With a legacy spanning more than three centuries, the Maison introduces visitors to the artistry behind the brand through guided tastings of its celebrated Blue Swift and XO expressions, an experience crafted for both connoisseurs and curious newcomers.

Soundtrack of the Maison
Music forms the heartbeat of the residency, with some of South Africa’s most compelling artists setting the tone across the weekends. Afro-house favourite Darque opens the programme on Thursday evenings, followed by the unmistakable Amapiano energy of DJ Stokie on Fridays.
Saturdays however, belong to the electrifying sounds of Dlala Thukzin, while Sundays close on a soulful note with the rich, emotive vocals of Langa Mavuso.
The experience extends well beyond music. Renowned chef Coco Reinarhz curates a culinary journey inspired by Africa’s vibrant flavours and global sophistication. Trained in classical French technique and known for his work at Epicure at One, his menu brings a modern interpretation of African gastronomy to the Maison’s refined setting.
