Brands on the Rise: Kimmy's Creations

Brand on the Raise: Kimmy’s Creations

In the heart of South Africa, on a humble patio during lockdown, a spark was lit. A spark that would eventually blossom into a radiant homeware and wellness brand now known and celebrated as Kimmy’s Creations. Founded by Keletso “Kimmy” Khomoaleburu, this brand is more than just candles, diffusers, and bath products; it is a story of faith, resilience, and purpose woven into every product.

Lighting the Way: The Rise of Kimmy’s Creations

Kimmy’s journey began in a deeply transitional period. Newly married and recently retrenched, she found herself craving peace and comfort. Lighting a candle became more than just a habit, it became a ritual of hope. That personal act flare up a bigger vision: to create handcrafted wellness products that bring healing, serenity, and intention into other people’s homes.

What started as experiments with soy wax and essential oils soon became small batches of reed diffusers gifted to friends and family. Encouraged by their feedback, Keletso poured her heart into learning everything she could—refining her blends, building her brand, and trusting that her steps were divinely ordered.

More Than Products, A Purpose-Driven Experience

At the core of Kimmy’s Creations lies a deep belief: wellness should be personal, spiritual, and beautiful. Each product is made with care, intention, and prayer. From scent curation to elegant packaging, everything is designed to foster moments of peace and reflection.

What truly sets the brand apart is its heart. Keletso listens to her customers and incorporates their stories and emotions into her creations. Whether it is a candle for someone in grief or a diffuser to bring calm to a chaotic season, every offering is crafted to hold meaning.

A Moment of Recognition: Winning at the YOBAs

In less than three years, Kimmy’s Creations earned national recognition by winning Top Homeware Brand at the YOBAs. For Keletso, it was more than just an award, it was divine confirmation. “That moment reminded me not to settle,” she shares, “and to keep pushing toward the vision of being a brand that’s seen and celebrated across the world.”

The recognition brought renewed energy, dignity, and visibility. It inspired boldness to expand product lines, improve customer experience, and claim space in a competitive market without losing the brand’s soul.

Faith-Led Innovation and Community Impact

Keletso’s approach to innovation is soulful and collaborative. She blends feedback, seasonal inspiration, and even prayer to develop new scents and bath experiences. Asking questions such as “What would love smell like?” allows her to create products that resonate deeply with her community.

Her commitment to sustainability and wellness is clear: using eco-friendly, skin-safe ingredients and sourcing locally wherever possible. But her deepest commitment is to healing and connection. As one customer shared how a personalized candle helped her grieve and find peace, Kimmy realized: This is the real impact.

Looking Ahead: A Legacy of Peace and Purpose

With plans for in-person pop-ups, creative collaborations, and a future retail presence, Kimmy is dreaming big, but staying grounded in her values. Her vision for the next five years includes a flagship store, global reach, and a brand that continues to reflect beauty, purpose, and faith.

Ultimately, Kimmy’s legacy is not about the products rather about how people feel when they use them. “I want our legacy to be one of peace, beauty, and faith, and that we pointed people back to God, even through the smallest details of everyday life.”

Kimmy’s Creations is proof that with faith, purpose, and heart, even the simplest beginnings can lead to something truly meaningful.
