Global skincare brand NIVEA has officially partnered with HYROX as its official skincare partner, positioning the collaboration as a natural meeting point between performance, recovery and self-care.
To mark the announcement, NIVEA hosted an intimate luncheon at The Tryst, where guests experienced a carefully curated environment that blended HYROX’s high-performance culture with NIVEA’s signature premium blue-and-white branding aesthetic.
The event highlighted NIVEA’s growing focus on active lifestyles and showcased how skincare products can play an essential role in fitness preparation, endurance and recovery.
A Fitness-Focused Experience
Every detail of the event reflected the wellness-driven partnership. Guests were treated to a protein-focused catering experience featuring nutrient-rich dishes and fresh ingredients, while immersive brand moments and photo opportunities reinforced the synergy between skincare and sport.
NIVEA Brand Manager Yolanda Katsha opened the event by unpacking the role of the NIVEA Derma Control deodorant range within the partnership, explaining how the product aligns naturally with the demands of high-performance fitness environments.
HYROX partnership manager Roxy Louw also shared insights into how the collaboration came together and what both brands hope to achieve through the partnership.

Influencers Lead the Conversation Around Performance Care
The event’s energetic atmosphere was guided by MC Menzi Ndlovu, who led an engaging discussion featuring NIVEA’s newly announced brand ambassadors.
Fitness influencers Unathi Mkhize, Teal Hogg, Khanya Mboze and Siya Molefe shared personal insights into the discipline required to compete in HYROX events and the importance of skincare as part of performance preparation.

The ambassadors highlighted how the NIVEA Derma Control deodorant supports confidence and comfort during intense physical activity, while still prioritising skin care under pressure.
Skincare Designed for High-Performance Lifestyles
At the centre of the partnership is the NIVEA Derma Control deodorant range, which the brand describes as being engineered for endurance. The product offers 72-hour sweat and odour protection while maintaining skin comfort during physically demanding activities.
The brand also spotlighted additional products including the Labello Lip Care range and Q10 skincare solutions, positioning them as important components in pre-event preparation and post-workout recovery routines.
From preparation and performance to rest and recovery, the partnership aims to reinforce the idea that skincare is an essential part of an active lifestyle rather than an afterthought.
More Than Just a Brand Collaboration
Speaking about the partnership, Yolanda Katsha said the collaboration demonstrates that skin health has a meaningful place within active and fitness-focused environments.
The partnership reflects a broader shift in wellness culture, where performance is increasingly linked to holistic self-care practices that extend beyond the workout itself.
Rather than focusing solely on physical endurance, the NIVEA and HYROX collaboration positions recovery, restoration and preparation as equally important parts of the fitness journey.
