Brand partnerships that authentically celebrate culture are increasingly shaping the future of African marketing. In a move that blends beauty, fashion and heritage, Creme of Nature has announced its official partnership with the MXS Kulture Festival 2026, reinforcing the brand’s positioning around textured hair and African identity.
The fourth annual festival will take place on 21 March 2026 at Toadbury Hall, bringing together music, fashion and cultural storytelling. For Creme of Nature, the collaboration represents more than sponsorship, it is a strategic alignment with a platform that celebrates African creativity and heritage.

A Strategic Beauty and Fashion Partnership
As the Official Hair Partner, Creme of Nature will be responsible for the hairstyling at the MAXHOSA AFRICA runway showcase, led by founder and creative director Laduma Ngxokolo.
The partnership underscores how beauty brands are increasingly integrating into fashion spaces where culture, storytelling and identity intersect.
Ngxokolo’s latest winter collection will first debut internationally at Paris Fashion Week on 7 March before returning home to South Africa for its local showcase at the festival on Human Rights Day.
For the beauty brand, the moment is symbolic: a celebration of African design on a global stage, followed by a cultural homecoming.
“We are incredibly proud to partner with MAXHOSA AFRICA for the 2026 MXS Kulture Festival,” says Zandi Zinganto, Brand Manager of Creme of Nature.
“This partnership is a shared celebration of heritage, authenticity and culture. Just as MAXHOSA tells powerful stories through design, we tell stories through texture. Hair is not an afterthought at a festival like this, it is creative expression on bold display.”

Where Textured Hair Meets High Fashion
At the festival runway, hairstyling will play a central role in bringing the MAXHOSA collection to life. From sculptural braids to bold natural textures, each look will be crafted to complement the design narrative.
The collaboration highlights a growing shift in fashion and beauty, recognising textured hair not simply as styling, but as a cultural statement.
In this context, the partnership between Creme of Nature and MAXHOSA becomes a creative dialogue between fabric and crown, where heritage is reflected through both fashion design and hairstyling artistry.
Experiential Marketing at the Festival
Beyond the runway, the beauty brand will also activate an immersive Pop-Up Salon Studio at the festival, offering attendees interactive hairstyling experiences and quick treatments.
Experiential activations have become an essential tool for brands looking to engage audiences beyond traditional advertising, particularly at lifestyle and cultural events.
Festival guests will also interact with the brand through curated haircare experiences featuring local ambassador Nomzamo Mbatha, who will also step in as the festival’s co-host.
Her involvement strengthens the cultural relevance of the partnership, bringing together fashion, beauty and influential voices within the African creative landscape.

Celebrating Culture Through Brand Collaboration
For Creme of Nature, the partnership reflects its “Rooted in Radiance” philosophy, celebrating the beauty, identity and heritage of textured hair.
For MXS Kulture Festival and MAXHOSA AFRICA, it reinforces a broader cultural narrative: African creativity that moves seamlessly between global recognition and local celebration.
As brand collaborations continue to evolve, partnerships like this demonstrate how marketing can move beyond visibility to create meaningful cultural connections, where heritage is not only worn, but proudly expressed.
